I have been programming NEC branded telecommunications equipment for over 15 years.

The latest round of hardware from NEC now has IP telephony built in. Prior to this, the previous platforms did support VOIP but it was a bolted on feature.

True IP phone support is no available as well as SIP trunking. This marks something of a departure point for telephone communications. Now, we are IP enabled from the desktop to the cloud.

Trixbox is a free and open PBX platform and this is my first attempt at setting up a Trixbox network.

  1. currently i am using thevoice broadcasting and predictive dialer of intercloud9, i am using their services since last two years without having any problem.
